Peacock Blue Indian Tunic Salwar Kameez Bohemian Hostess Dress

Handmade lightweight south asian style tunic over a pair of navy satin loose-fitting drawstring/elastic waist pants. The two pieces were not made together, the pants were store bought. Both are vintage 1990s. The tunic is split up to the lower waist on either side. Small round fabric matched buttons with loop catches go up the center chest to a short standing collar. The sleeves are full length. Ribbon lines the hems to give the lightweight material a heavier drape. Small shoulder pads are in place to give the shoulder a straight corner. I am not confident about the fiber and there are no tags. I think it is silk and would treat it as such for cleaning unless you can determine it is not. The pants are solid midnight blue polyester satin that leans teal with a wide leg and slightly tapered ankle. The elastic waist has a functional drawstring and generous stretch. No pockets. Tunic is in very good preloved condition, pants are like new.
