Patzún ceremonial huipil. Antique Hand Woven/ Embroidered Guatemala Huipil

This is a beautiful vintage huipil that is hand woven on a back strap loom, Hand sewn and hand embroidered. Very good condition for its age with some fading and loose embroidery threads. A few subtle unknown stains Patzún ceremonial huipil. This beautiful circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two wide, warp-striped cotton panels that are joined by multi-colored decorative seams. The head opening is surrounded by hand embroidery, all in silk. Patzun ceremonial huipils with silk embroidery are rare.
