@arice17560 The answer is no, the straps are not removable. However, it has holes like a belt to make it smaller or larger. It measures 10 inches and the length is also 10 inches. There are two pockets in the front under the flap and each one measures 3/34 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches long. When I pulled this down from my closet, I noticed a few scuff marks on the bottom. I have posted a picture of them and will lower the price to $80.

@zeldawiz There are two pockets but they don't have zippers to close them. See the pictures. They are suitable for a phone or glasses, or anything that won't slip out.Hope that helps.
