Patagonia boots

Comes from a smoke free and pet friendly home. I’m the second owner , I paid $160 for them and wore them once. While wearing them the outside fabric started coming off. I swore I was going to fix it but then never did. I’m not sure it could be fixed? They’ve been sitting in my closet for a year and I’m tired of looking at them. Hopefully someone on here can fix them.
