I reused the parchment paper for the purple potato kugel-- yummy!- from the bread/sourdough baking, which takes a lot of browning of the paper, hence the end result not desirable. which left the kugel pan stuck-on-egg, which otherwise prefer avoided. Note to myself: don't reuse parchment from this type baking, to a liquidity bake, ie kugel...

ππΌ Hi! Where can I get that kugel recipe????? π
vintage2classic
Peel, grate one purple sweet potato grate on wide sliced side for flat wide results, or grate medium, or food processor slice in nice. Grate 1 onion use three eggs and the mixed with some spices I think I use cinnamon fresh ginger maybe a little...

@evette212 (see above first)
...cayenne, nutmeg salt and no pepper this time oh well use oil a good amount maybe like a quarter of a cup, mix everything put in any kind of pan if you want it flat so then you say like a 9 by 9 or you can use a loaf pan like I did a smaller loaf pan and it feeds about 6 people side dish enjoy

@vintage2classic Excellent. Iβm gonna try this in the next few weeks & I will let you know how it goes. Sounds so yummy. π
vintage2classic
@evette212 Do try and let me know, bake high for first 20 min, then 350 or 375 until brown, puffed high about 15 min, but nothing exact, just keep on eye not to burn, but not loose.

@vintage2classic Lor, holy moly, everything looks amazing, now Iβm really hungry for dinner at your house. The cake looks like the cake you and Marty used to get me from KJ, is the frosting the same? And what is the main course with the glazed onions and snappy peas?
nancyanne123
@vintage2classic Iβm going to the grocery store tomorrow, can I have the recipe please, do u think itβs to difficult for me? I want to make a nice meal tomorrow, Michael & Joey are coming over to help me get my house in order and take me food shopping, I think a nice (not to hard) home cooked meal will be good for me.
vintage2classic
@nancyanne123 The cake was Marty's BD 6 layer, not 7:) and frosting was coconut chocolate cream, the raspberry jam was a nice addition. The entrΓ©e I think you mentioned is actually a teriyaki tempeh. Zucchini, carrots.... He 'doesn't like' tempeh, but he liked this. lol. The teriyaki recipes is with fresh ginger and I use kudzu to thicken.

@vintage2classic can u send me an easy but nice recipe, how about an easy delicious salmon dinner.
