I'm very interested in the shoes. I was wondering without the heel does the soul of the shoe in the front lay flat when on or are they upturned like shown in the photo?

@mbossler because I haven’t worn this pair much, it is still slightly upturned. They do wear in over time to lay flat and it’s hard to tell when you’re wearing them. I have other pairs that have flattened out.
