The base is antique copper (and very heavy). The shade has individual pieces of stained glass. The colors are Purple and green they look like roses and leaves. The measurements are: the stand is approximately 13" tall and 4-1/2" in diameter at the base. The bottom is covered in felt. The lampshade is approximately 6" tall and 6-3/4" diameter at the base.
