cas19 @lrboyland just b/c there name isn’t above doesn’t mean they don’t sell genuine! But I’ve seen some poshers have genuine silver products but there rose gold is stamped s925 ale & that’s a big NO NO. I’ve bought pandora from some poshers above & they’re great poshers whom most I’ve interacted with. ✨

I saw one particular who has fakes and had sold a couple of bracelets for $200 plus. I was so heartbroken for them!

a_maren Thank you for bringing awareness to counterfeit items. I too ask poshers for honesty and integrity. I have run into dishonest people on here (selling broken/damaged items and not listing as such), but have yet to run into counterfeit items, so thank you for your tips in finding authentic items!

renaye2 @a_maren You are welcome!! I have received 3 counterfeit pieces from different sellers that I have had to returned. The pictures had the hallmarks but after receiving the items, and comparing them, they did not look right, the color was off, or the design. These sellers are getting clever.

renaye2 Also, I have numerous encountered with the issue of no shipment of items from sellers. I am started informing sellers that I will take item to Pandora to authenticate. There are sellers who will actually encourage you to do so. And then there are those, who will never ship item after purchasing. Speaking of which, I have been waiting 3 days for a seller to ship item, so I would say , I will be receiving a credit. :)

bubblydesert50 Thank you for posting! However as a Pandora collector since the mid 90s I have a few important remarks! Before 2012 I believe, Pandora used just 925 the S in front of the 925 was added later! Same with the crown on the bracelet! Also as a collector I am selling my older Pandora charms pretty reasonable! Price alone does not always indicate a fake! I sell old in order to purchase newer!

I was told by a Pandora store that my very old long retired and discontinued charms were fake when in fact the help at this particular store only were familiar with the last few seasons! Even the Pandora stores (help) can make mistakes! The best defense is to educate yourself! Another HUGE tip-off?

bubblydesert50 Tip-off is if the inside of the charm or bead is super shiney and UNTHREADED! With the exception of Pandoras “Pave’ Charms and the new Maleficient charm, all charms and Murano Beads SHOUKD BE OXIDIZED and THREADED! Run like hell if the charm is shiney or not threaded!

bubblydesert50 @cas19 Not necessarily! Pandora hires non Pandora collectors and they are trained to know the last few and/or current seasons! Collectors are far more knowledgeable! There are many criteria to use as a guide to help guard against buying faux Pandora! Do you know ALL the criteria? Ask yourself that question! I would never use a sales person at a Pandora store to tell me what is and isn’t fake! Unless that person is familiar with charms that go back to the 1990s....

There’s tons of information and pictures out there to do so. I am no expert however I can easily spot what’s real/fake because of my own research. Not to say there no older fake Pandora, you will not see older fake Pandora floating around on Posh as much ie, queen bee/football helmet/basketball/5 clip bracelet just to name a few. Also, as myself and many other collectors will know what to look for when it comes to older styles as often times.
