This Double Boiler is the perfect companion to our cookware line. The Double Boiler is suitable for traditional preparation, warming or cooking of heat-sensitive foods such as custards, delicate sauces and chocolate. The tapered bottom of the Double Boiler fits pans ranging from 6 inches to 7.75 inches in diameter. The long handle provides safe gripping of the Double Boiler when cooking; the small helper handle provides assistance when transferring the unit to a work surface of when pouring mixtures from one of the two convenient pour spouts. The brushed stainless steel interior and bottom portion of the exterior minimizes appearance of scratches that may occur with the use of metal utensils. The angled stainless head of the dipping tool is ideal for use in coating and removing small pieces of food from chocolate or confectionery coatings that have been melted in the Double Boiler.
