Barely used Joey pack. I used this for 10 days in Nepal, and that’s it. I wanted to love this pack–the brand is great and the bag is slick… but I found that I prefer a pack with a hip belt. If you’re familiar with this pack you know what it is and what you’re looking for. I have the two water bottles but one has a leak, maybe you can patch it or send it in for replacement.
I’m not motivated to sell this lower, I’m happy to hang on to it and use it occasionally.
“the joey is a multi-day vest style pack. the straps are designed around carrying water up front to distribute weight efficiently. the pockets are perfect for various water bottles and the little stash pockets for small things. made from two layers of spacer mesh, the straps stretch and mold to your shoulders. its low volume keeps it compact and close to the back.“
weight: ultraweave - 13.4 oz; gridstop - 14.8 oz
volume: 24l (internal capacity)
size: 18″ (one size)

Are these photos up to date if you are continuing to wear the piece?

@alecremington I may use it for the very occasional day hike until it sells (but not often since I own many other packs that are more ideal for me in most situations), but I'll update the photos if the appearance or condition changes.

@wrenees thanks :)
Which packs do you find more ideal if I may ask? Uncertain on the size I’d like.

@alecremington I like to pack a lot of (ultralight) stuff on multi-day treks and have used the Hyperlite 3400 for years and love it. This Joey pack was only big enough for me in Nepal because a porter was carrying the majority of my stuff. Even so, I didn't love that it doesn't have a waist strap—the water bottles counter some of the weight, but only when they're full. I really like the Arcteryx Aerios day packs. They have lots of pockets, and feel more ergonomic to me than this Joey pack.

@alecremington This pack seems very specific to a certain type of ultra-ultra-light thru hiker. That is not me, but I enjoy the simplicity of how this pack looks.

@wrenees thank you for the intel!! I too love the aesthetic. I always like to think I’ll be ultra ultra light, but then when push comes to shove, I’m reaching for my 65L. I’ve been getting into trail running and am considering this as a run/camp option. Again, I appreciate hearing your take!

I’ve never bought anything or used postmark before, is this pack still for sale? had it had more use since you’ve posted?
