Great Pajar winter boot. Leather, suede and cute blue/black flannel checked upper with elastic cinch in the back to keep the fit close and snow out! These are great boots, well insulated and although the Size is EU 39, US 8-8 1/2, I found them to be a bit short- closer to 8- so haven't worn them much. Inside synthetic fur is fluffy and soft. Negligible wear to the soles and the tread pattern is very grippy for both snow and ice.

lyrell @jab2305 Hi-The boots are black but the area you are asking about could be described as a dark grey. Perhaps since the top part of the upper is suede and doesn't reflect the light, it does appear darker.

jeaniemasters @lyrell thank you, I realized I didn’t really have any winter boots and definitely wanted them to be fairly easy to slip on plus warm of course. I have an English bulldog that expects to walk out together even in the middle of the night regardless of if it’s 10°. 😆😱
