Pair of Vintage Stoneware Pottery Müslï Bowls 3 inches tall 5 inches wide These vintage bowls are heavy stoneware and appear to be handglazed and stamped. Raised "Müslï" on front of bowls. Perfect for holding your muesli, oatmeal, cereal, soup, or anything else! Obtained at a flea market in Germany. Muesli is a Swiss breakfast dish of rolled oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. Traditionally, it's soaked overnight in water and eaten in the morning with cream, lemon juice, and fresh fruit. Swiss doctor Maximilian Oskar Bircher-Benner developed the original recipe, called Apfeldiätspeise, or "apple diet meal" around 1900.
