Pair Of Hand Carved Vases, Origin Unknown Must See

Please review each photograph provided as they are always an important part of our descriptions. I have taken several close up photos and encourage you to review each one. I have seen similar vases online but the descriptions are varied. I am sure this is carved Stone but have no idea of the stone type or origin. It is heavy as marble but I cannot say for certain that these are carved marble. They have a very ethnic look to them, possibly originating from Asia or the middle east.
