barefootmuse Aloha! I love the Trevor Project!!! My wife + I have a small community group in our little mountain town (in the Bible Belt) that’s open to youth seeking refuge from conversion therapy. barefootmuse @burdensboutique These kinda of services are invaluable. We didn’t have access to help like this when I was young (I’m so grateful you did!). I really was blessed that I grew up in a very open-minded + blended family (racial, sexual-orientation etc) + so I learned from a very early age that love is just love!

barefootmuse @burdensboutique This is actually the 1st time we’ve ever lived in a community that wasn’t 🏳️‍🌈 open/friendly. So sometimes when we’re out in town, we have to pause before passing little kisses/holding hands etc. But mostly we’re also blessed w/ awesome neighbors + friends! Plus we’re both at ages where we mostly just don’t give a *bleep* what people think! Lol
