PREDATOR (1987) Signed 8x10 Photo / SONNY LANDHAM (1941-2017) As ‘Billy Sole’

Sonny Landham was born in Georgia in 1941 and played football for the University of Georgia before enlisting in the Army, working in an oil field, becoming a Baptist minister, and doing some modeling. Two years of acting school led to small parts in movies before his big break in 1982. He was cast as ‘Billy Bear’ in the Eddie Murphy hit movie “48 Hrs.”. Film and television parts were easy to get after that including the first “Predator” movie in 1987 co-starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura. In 2003, after his acting career had wound down, Sonny made three unsuccessful attempts at gaining political office. In his later years, heart failure led to circulation problems and he had to have both legs amputated. Sonny passed away in 2017 at the age of 76. He signed this 8x10 photo from “Predator” in silver paint pen. It has been authenticated by AutographCOA and has the oval authentication sticker on the back. Entering the serial number on their website will verify that it was authenticated on Nov. 15, 2019. The photo is in excellent condition except for a light fold in the upper left corner (see photo).
