🙏🏻😇December 23rd, my sister and her husband were hit by another car. hospital stay:rehab is going to take weeks. My precious sister is in her fourth month of hospital and rehab. probably has 6 weeks to go. Also my father-in-law has now been hospitalized and in rehab for almost same following gallbladder surgery gone terribly wrong. Please please pray. shelpen @fofam thank you sweetheart. Hearing those words mean so much to me and knowing someone is caring and praying. She gets to come out of trauma neuro icu Today and go to a lesser Icu. Her husband has more surgery today on his wrist. It is heartbreaking. Our family has never had automobile accidents and this came as such a horrendous shock.

lynda721 @shelpen I’m so sorry to hear of the accident. In 2014 I was in a bad car accident myself. I broke both my legs and had many other injuries. I was in the hospital for 7 weeks then went to a rehab for 5 months. I can completely sympathize with their trauma. I will most certainly pray for them. It’s still such a shock. We are three older sisters of 68, 72 and 74 and none of us have ever been in an automobile accident. We have been blessed.

lynda721 @shelpen I thank god everyday that I am still alive, still have my legs, and can still walk. I’ve been through a lot of surgeries in the past 3 years still fixing things aren’t quite right from the trauma surgeries right after the accident. It takes its toll but, my perspective on life is so completely different now. I am grateful for the smallest of things and don’t take anything for granted. I would keep telling myself one minute at a time, one hour at a time, one day at a time. ❤️❤️❤️

It doesn’t look quite as pretty as my normal packages because I normally wrap each item in tissue and then a big hot pink wide net bow. So many things were going to be wrinkled if I did that so just try to put everything in lots of tissue. I did one small item with a bow!

shelpen @bluesea38 Thank you so much my sweet friend. My sister is in rehab now. Four weeks in hospital and now two weeks in rehab with lots more weeks coming. Still a possibility of more surgery on her ankle or possibly losing her foot. She had a serious concussion that we did not find out about until we got to the third week in a wonderful rehab center in Chattanooga. The brain doctor found it right away while we all thought it was just her medicines making her act very unusual and forgetful.

shelpen @bluesea38 Please keep my precious sister in your prayers, additionally my eldest sister is into early dementia and my father-in-law who was a very well man at86 and still working as a sales person in the carpet industry has just gone through four weeks of various surgeries following a bad gallbladder and colon problem. Bless his heart. If it could go wrong after the surgeries, it did. He is now in rehab in Dalton Georgia.
