flutter_buys I had a real winner last night!! lol. She was advertising her FAKE LV in my listings and selling non compliant items, then wanting them to pay off the app!! Then I reported, but forgot to block her. So she got me again! But a few others helped me, so Posh shut her down!! 😜💃🏼🎈🎉👍💞💃🏼She was really nasty too. Guns and knives at the smiley faces and all! 😳. So, how is the baby? I'll go see! 😉

zev4u_lexx_luvr @schoomkie YEAH! I don't trust Big Bad-mouthers! I have actually blocked a couple Poshers who had repeatedly "advertised nasty stuff about supposed scammers!" I saw one about a person I did business with in the past & had a smooth transaction. Who is next? ME???? 😱

Two days ago one of my members of my share group sent me a couple pics ( IM) instant messenger of 4-5 listings of items that were priced at 1.00 or in that range...a closet was letting everyone know that we charge mega money for items googled one of them my tops although there are stores that one doesn't need a resale license to get that duplicate ones we pay for quality (same item) she discredited any of us ...cont'

4doggypawz I guess Manish was contacted personally to shut her down and the listings were removed...now I have been harassed as I responded to one of the listings telling her to do her homework as some are duplicated at poor quality same item we pay quality for and that was harassment...her friend threatened me I ended up blocking her...it was so not cool and the words that were said to me regarding taking advantage of others...so not right!!!!

I've been here since 2012, about 6 mos after the app launched & I can tell you that the best thing to do, and also unspoken Posh policy is "do not engage" (that's a quote from PM Support) Poshers who are in violation! Just report (with screen shots) and block.😕

4doggypawz It's ok good to vent every once in awhile... But so far worse is yapping with many things in the world that need our attention. Prince for one I wasn't a huge fan but grew up listening to him and loved purple rain..he was an extraordinary artist that his story really played on my heart strings the other day...he was different but do welcoming to his fans...a huge loss to fans and the music industry!!

dottydaga @abstractdreams wow this actually kinda creeps me out. I've read around about scammers etc and I've been recently just following everyone to increase exposure and sales possibilities but I'm not sure if I should continue to do so... What I've tried its to see how many postings they have listed sometimes I even look to see how many Thank you's have they received... What are good suggestions to avoid such people?? 👀😱😓

abstractdreams @dottydaga : I think if you use good judgement & continue to assess Poshers carefully, you'll be ok. Generally closets with no profile pic/no listings/no interactions might be good to avoid. But since 2012, I've not had any problems! Report anything sketchy to PM Support & "do not attempt to engage" them (that quote is from Posh Support)! Plenty of experienced Poshers are here everyday (like myself) & happy to help!👍🏽

And I checked UO, she was selling the same style, dif season for twenty dollars more, she lowered her price!! I wear a large!! She sent a medium!! Like a fool!! I gave her time to re...I've been ill, I guess by the time I reported her, it was too late! Out 60 bucks!!!

myblueskydays @schoomkie @myblueskydays I feel like a fool!! I sell retail, she sells tons of FP, but often higher than they do!! My pants came in an FP bag!! I could tell something was up, then I saw her pic, no way does she where it, sounds crazy I'm an Empath and a counselor, I almost felt that she went there every other day, and sells for recognition? So many oh wow comments, followed by 300? FP is selling now for 200$! I feel so burned!! So I just relished, had a lot more come to mind though!!!😊✌🏽️🌺

As a counselor I will say, being scammed when perhaps someone made a purchase for an item with her last dime to go to a special event, can be upsetting for anyone, for someone in crisis it could be devastating!! I just purchased a FP top for my daughter, the pics were dark, but the price was good! I received it, it had stripes? The pic, no stripes!! I actually gave her !

myblueskydays @myblueskydays the benefit of the doubt! I messaged her and asked if she maybe sent me the wrong item!! Check the pic again!! Took a pic of it!! She said no it was the right one?? I told her I happened to like them so it was ok, but now my daughter doesn't? What do these people think?? I won't notice? And the smells!! Sometimes...if something has been hanging for a long time, may be the smell of your home..and ok, but I have to wash everything!!!😊✌🏽️💪🏾💃🏽💖🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had a couple ppl who forgot to mention that they smoke & one who sprayed my purchase with perfume (I have Lupus, I had a migraine for two days). But since 2012, I buy more than I sell & have dealt with honest, caring, generous women who have become a constant source of support for me! On PM & in real life. Dawn @schoomkie is one of them.👍🏽💋

You wouldn't try to reason with someone whose wasted or mentally ill, or in severe pain!! These are unbalanced very unhappy people! I was hit by three trucks n one cars, have fibromyalgia, intestial cystitis, they keep telling me for years lupus, and ms, I have every symptom of both, a c survivor and have developed insane allergies!! They just are clueless!!! I keep everything seperate, and I have two pups, but clothes I sell isn't going to smell like my puppy!! Not a chance!!

myblueskydays @abstractdreams I'm so sorry you have lupus, I don't want it, but whatever label they decide to put on it, I stumble like a drunk, loose my vision and speech, I'm in agony 24/7...and I get sick where I just can't function..go days without food etc...but my son works at an organic restaurant, he brings me food most nights!! deborahrn First of all. .you are the epitome of what, kind and etiquette is all about. I wish I had found you when I first came into the world of Poshmark. I'm still a newbie but trying hard to follow all rules. I feel there are 2 items I need to take out of my closet but when I asked abs then looked at other PC CLOSETS. .I saw similar items. shine4362 I Inquired about a necklace last night from a young college student who's bio stated that she was trying to earn funds to attend a weekend getaway/party with friends.. needs to purchase plane ticket.. etc. As I scrolled thru her other items I saw that she was selling a 3 pair set of VS panties... plus an added bonus for only $25 extra if anyone wanted her to soil them (wink, wink) with an added promise that she'd seal them "real nice" to preserve the scent..... I’ve been here 5.5 years & there was a girl doing something similar. Cover shots that bordered on porn & creepily sexual description of the items she was ‘selling.’ Reported en masse & she was GONE in a couple hours. Same with puppy sellers!👎🏼

mysticalblue Well, I’m not having any luck reporting Poshers closets that sell all kinds of UNSUPPORTED items‼️‼️There are closets that I have reported to Posh several times in the past few months, and those closets and UNSUPPORTED items are STILL LISTED AND SELLING‼️‼️ I’ve even written Poshmark and never heard back anything!!!!! I know PM is so busy, but this is aggravating and I feel very ignored on very serious matters‼️‼️. Thank you for letting me vent🤯🤯🤯

abstractdreams @mysticalblue I’m sorry to hear that...you’ve emailed Posh Support and not heard back?? That doesn’t sound right. The basic rule around is report violations and move on. We can police ourselves to be the best part of the community and Posh will get to the closets that are in violation of the guidelines. Eventually. But don’t try to be the Posh Police. You’ll just stress yourself out! 👍🏼💕

The response I got was to literally report the prohibited listing on the page where it's listed. I did that. I never saw the items removed, though. I think if they were removed by posh, she relisted them immediately,
