I found it and thought it was appropriate. I have a closet full of things I bought that didn't fit. Not the sellers fault, mine.

So true! Wish we could rate the buyers as well. Because if I know is a person that is always "unhappy" with her purchases. I rather not sell to her. Sometimes it's not worth it!

@4_trendy_kids I have had only 2 people give me 4's. One of bought a canvas purse.I said it had a few spots, had pics, the whole 9 yds. She gave me a 3.I sent her a msg saying that I would launder it or send as is. She didn't respond, but then gave me a 3. I told her that she never responded & I treat others as I would like. I guess I guilted her, she changed it to a 5.

😊 well I'm glad she changed her rating. I'm a SU with my women's closet @mk4 and I spend a lot of time listing , taking pictures and trying to describe my products as best as possible , but many times people don't read the descriptions and they rate you poorly. That's just unfair.

@4_trendy_kids oh yeah! People want this to be a yard sale or thrift store. All the formal dresses that I have had been worn only once with several thousand dollars invested. I will hang onto them or give them to a charity before I sale them for 20% of what I'm asking!

Nothing like having 5’s across the board and 1 or 2 people ruin your stats. I sold a men’s shirt that had been worn twice. The person bought it & gave me a 4. I ques him & he said it was a mistake, it was supposed to be 5, but never fixed it‼️

99.9% 5*'s Phew, because sometimes it's just dumb!! My personal favorite lower rating reason: buyer said item perfect but she's downsizing and didn't want the gifts I had sent along with her purchase (and they probably had a higher value than the item she bought!)! The others were USPS related! I always check the offer'ers 'love notes given' when considering accepting and have even sent a comment that '5* rating appreciated with acceptance of offer'

I had someone buy my suade fringe boots never worn . She paid $10. Gorgeous. Size 5. She gave me bad rating because she said they fit like a size 7. I told her to try tying laces or wearing socks. I’m a 5 and they were tight on me!

Another one bought Tory Burch and said they were too small. Size 5 again. Looked at her Tory purchases and they were all size 5. Why, I ask? Why?

Love this...so true, personal issues shouldn’t reflect on the Seller. I can’t control if you don’t like the fit. Trust me, I have bought plenty of Posh items that looked better on the Seller’s hanger than on me, but I still gave 5 ⭐️ and just Reposhed the item, my issue not theirs. Happy Poshing!! 💕

@watersca Absolutely! I have done the same many times. I try to give as much info as possible-fits small, large, etc. I want 5’s , but there are those who will complain about anything!

@artsie_1 love this and the comments. I actually got a poor rating from a seasoned posher because I didn’t include a thank you note with an item purchased. The cute mailer bag with “thank you for supporting my small business” written on the outside was “unnecessary” b/c it “adds to pollution” and I “should have used” an USPS free mailer instead. She went on and on lambasting me. I couldn’t believe it!

@tammylou757 I have a set of rectangular decorative note pads. I try to include one, but it doesn’t always happen! It doesn’t bother me at all either way. I feel that quick shipping & quality speaks more than a note. 🤷🏻♀️. To get a low rating for that reason is totally absurd‼️

@artsie_1 That’s great to include a note. Initially I included notes, but now I usually enclose a note only when I’m sending a bundle, but I almost always message buyers upon purchase and again when I drop off at USPS, so I get comments regularly about excellent communication. Hand-written notes take time and I sell on different platforms where they’re not typical. It’s interesting to learn how other resellers do things. Thanks for sharing!
