Has this iron been thoroughly tested and found to be fully functional? How bad is the rust on the handles? Is it cleanable, or has it eaten into the handles' actual structure? Is the plug in great condition, or is there fraying on the cord? Are the prongs straight or bent? Thx!

@sdsurfchick it is just the tarnishing and surface rust. Overall, it is in good working condition. The owner is just not into baking anymore. So she is slowly getting rid of her kitchen stuff.
