PIERRE BALMAIN luxurious and authentic gold grommets & chain leather bag

*RARE* and beautiful authentic PIERRE BALMAIN black leather pochette with gold grommets and gold chain strap. It just feels like luxury. The leather is so soft and supple and the quality of the golden grommets and chain strap is just excellent. It really is a quality Italian bag. I bought it myself new several years ago from a legitimate retail store, not from an individual, so I know it’s authentic. It’s original price was $899. There are tags inside the bag that have the authenticity numbers on them, and there’s a date that says 1973 but I don’t know what that means. It’s not the date it was made or purchased, so it may be the origin date of Pierre Balmain, maybe before he became known as just BALMAIN? It still has the tags on it and the inside paper stuffing, and it’s in perfect condition. I just love the quality of the gold chain that’s 42” long. Bag itself is 12” x 5.5”. It’s a gorgeous and excellent quality Italian bag but I have no need to use it so it’s sitting in storage. It’s also great value for what it is. It’s a rare bag with a more than decent price. I hate to part with it to be honest, but it’s not seeing the light of day. Happy Poshing!
