Designed as a tennis bracelet in gold tone, the Swarovski Chaton crystals are 41mm in diameter; the bracelet is 7 inches long with a 1-inch extension and a lobster claw clasp. ● As of November 2021, Swarovski quit making crystals for jewelry. ● Born in 1862, Daniel Swarovski became skilled in the art of glass-cutting in his father’s small glass-cutting factory in what is now the Czech Republic. In 1883 he founded a jewelry company and eight years later registered a patent for a machine that could cut crystal to perfection. After building his own glass factory, Swarovski no longer imported glass. They developed other glass-making and cutting techniques for jewelry and industrial use.
