A charming CHILD’S PLATE made by PARAGON - Royal Appointment - ENGLAND. Vintage 1930’s. Features an illustration and design by EILEEN SOPER (1904-1990) - "A Golden Crown Is For A King" EILEEN ALICE SOPER (1905-1990) was an English etcher & illustrator of children and wildlife books. She was one of the youngest artists to exhibit at the Royal Academy. Plate is signed by artist and measures approximately 8 1/4” diameter. Lovely fine china piece - highly collectible! CONDITION: Excellent with no chips, cracks, crazing or fading to the design! Tiny stain, right side in blue area which may come out. Back manufacturing dimple under the glaze as shown. A lovely display piece.
