PAIR OF VINTAGE BAVARIAN WOODLAND GAME BIRDS SNIPE PARTRIDGE IN THE FOREST PLATE

From one of Germany's most highly regarded porcelain manufacturers dating back to 1866 is this sweet pair of corresponding dessert / salad plates each detailing different Woodland game birds. One plate features a family of Partridge, while the other depicts a pair of Snipe. The forest scenes are from antique engravings. There are ferns, mushrooms and other woodland plants.
