Oyster Footed Ring Box, Small Pale Blue Shell & Pink Floral Decoupage, Handmade

Small Oyster Trinket Box handcrafted with a natural whole Pacific Oyster. The outside shell is colored in Pearlescent Blue with Pink highlights. Inside, it is decoupaged with Roses and Butterflies paper, and rimmed with Silver paint. This decorative Oyster Shell Box can house small jewelry, trinkets, or precious keepsakes and mementos. Thanks to its stand, it will not topple over, even when filled with your little treasures. It will make a stylish functional ornament for your home, or a unique gift to mark a special occasion. Size... The bottom cup is about 3 3/4" long, 2 1/2" wide, and 0.5" at the deepest point. Altogether, the shell box stands about 2 1/2" tall (lid knob included). Process… The empty shell was scrubbed, sanitized, and colored to highlight its unique features. Paper decoupage was then applied inside, and the shell rim was hand painted in silver. A faux pearl lid knob and a plastic stand were glued in place next, before sealing the shell inside and out with 3 coats of varnish for a beautiful protective finish. Care… Your embellished Oyster Box can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth. **It is not water, heat, or kiddy-proof 😊 It will arrive boxed and carefully packaged as shown. Love this Whimsy?
