However because it is an actual Byzantine chain clamped with a strip of gold to make a ring instead of a necklace it makes it a tiny bit flexible. It is NOT mesh It’s solid but again a chain so it has a tiny bit of flex. You can’t squish it flat or anything like that. To me the stock pics make it look like it’s not at all flexible & it barely is but I thought I should note that. I really loved it and wore it but it’s just too small for me as you can see I couldn’t get it all the way over my knuckle for good pics.
