FYI- this is a Farpoint 55L pack according to picture #2 which is a pack made for men while the Fairview is made for women.

Your comment and looked at them again. Thanks for pointing out. I don’t think they’re much different in size though there’s no reason why a man couldn’t use the Fairview from what I can tell ?

@tybrill I’m not sure. I know guys not as tall use the Fairview. Women are just made physically different with the curves of hips & chest. Some of the other models have two sizes even in just women & men. They have a sm/med & a large/xl for even better fit. Being a girl & if pack is full at 30+ pounds, you definitely want it to fit & not run in all the wrong places. I only know bc I’ve been researching which pack to use for travel. This brand seems to be best fitting on me.

I think men could use Fairview easier than a woman using Farpoint. It’s probably more to do with the hip belt & how it sits on the hips & men don’t have exaggerated hips like we do. Just my guess though.
