Orthoceras Fossil Amethyst Turquoise Sterl-Earring

Orthoceras is an extinct cephalopod and are ancestors to the squid. They are dated back to 500-190 million years ago. (Lower Ordovician to Triassic ages) Their shells descended on the ocean floor and have been covered by stone over the ages. 1 pair of orthoceras fossils that are wrapped with tarnish resistant silver plated wire. They are attached to a wrapped chain that has faceted amethyst and faceted African turquoise beads. Ear hooks are sterling silver. They are about 4" long. No trades
