Orthoceras is an extinct cephalopod and are ancestors to the squid. They are dated back to 500-190 million years ago. (Lower Ordovician to Triassic ages) Their shells descended on the ocean floor and have been covered by stone over the ages.

They are attached to a wrapped chain that has faceted amethyst and faceted African turquoise beads.
