Ornate Gilded Frame with Classic Still Life Oil Painting of Fruit & Wine

Small and charming oil painting depicting a classic still life with fruit and wine in a beautifully ornate gilded frame. Done in a classic Baroque style with deep saturated colors and dark background, the painting is a great contrast to the gilt and burnished gold frame. The date and artist of the small painting are unknown. The condition of the painting and the frame is very good as seen in the close-up photos. The wonderfully elaborate gilt frame has a 3" depth from front of frame to the back where the painting is inlaid. The overall frame's dimensions are: 17" H x 15" W x 3" D".  The small inlaid painting itself is 5" x 7". This collectible gem is already wired and ready for hanging!
