This painting was inspired by my husband's wild turkeys, at the family homestead in Montana. He has a special gift with wildlife, and these turkeys made fast friends with him. Capturing the different feathers, including the iridescent ones, gave me a unique challenge. It is done on a 16X20" stretched canvas, using only top quality oils.
