Original Watercolor, Artist Signed, by E.A. Anderson Title: "Unknown" Circa: 1940's Artist: Edward A. Anderson (1923-2005) Medium: Watercolor on Paper Painting: 8" x 10" Framed: Maple Hardwood 12¼" x 14½" Professionally Framed, with a Double Matte, and to archival specifications. Excellent Condition. Colors Sharp and Crisp. No Issue Whatsoever. This is a very beautiful watercolor painting by American artist Edward A. Anderson. As one of his earliest known works, unfortunately the title of this piece is lost to time. He was a graduate of Illinois State Normal College and went on to be a Professor of Art at the University of Florida. During his career he was a member of the Artist and Teachers at the Famous Artist School in Westport, very active in Art Associations in Sherman and Housatonic Art Leagues. Professional exhibits of his works have been held at many well known galleries to include the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This piece is from my personal collection. Thanks for looking.
