Original Vintage 1950s Modern Midcentury Enamel-on-Copper Plate

HERE’S A BEAUTIFULLY-CREATED 7 ¾” SIGNED ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1950S-1960S MODERN MIDCENTURY ENAMEL-ON-COPPER PLATE BY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ARTIST LILY ALEXANDER - BETTER KNOWN AS “ALEXANDER OF CALIFORNIA” - THAT DISPLAYS THREE BUTTERFLIES RENDERED IN ORANGE, YELLOW AND PINK SET AGAINST A BLUE AND GOLD BACKGROUND! Dimensions: The plate measures approximately seven and three quarters inches (7 3/4”) in diameter by three quarters of an inch (3/4”) in height. Lily Alexander created beautifully rendered butterflies in orange, yellow, and pink enameling set against a blue and gold enameled background. Floating in-between the butterflies are very small red and green enamel dots! And the plate’s underside is counter enameled in dark variegated orange to brown enameling. Signature: Signed within the enameling on the underside bottom “Alexander” Condition: Good Vintage condition – absolutely beautiful!
