Original Mardi Gras Mask from MG 2000 NOLA

This purple, intricately designed by hand mask is from Mardi Gras Y2K in New Orleans! Louisiana. It has a stone and a feather on the right hand side along with stitch work that shows the profuse amount of detail that is put into these masks often by generations of families. There are two of these available which are numbered 7 and 4 out of only 10 made. It has ribbon which allows it to be tied for wear or hanging.
