Original 49er Sourdough Sam mascot artwork

This is an original acrylic painting for the TRUE 49er faithful--not for the bandwagon fan. This is a throwback mascot acrylic painting of the original Sourdough Sam drawing by William Kay. Hand painted mascot and hand lettered description of the history of Sam. Gold background for the Red and Gold Faithful fan! I painted the background to show the brush strokes as a tribute to golds nuggets. Acrylic paint on canvas with a light gloss clear glaze. Painted on professional grade 20" x 16" x .75" canvas. Acrylic paint with texture (see photo details). Overall gloss varnish for protection and finished painted edges. Signed by the artist (me) Daniel Riley in the bottom corner. Perfect for the die-hard Niner fan, perfect for a man cave or any Faithful Red and Gold fanatic or that Super Bowl collector of teams!
