Gray, as pictured the string holes got stretched out. They haven’t “spread” any since it first happened. You cannot really tell when tied. It’s probably an easy fix for someone crafty, which I am not! Other than that, they are in great condition! Tons of life left. Any washed items have only been washed in unscented detergent.
