Exceptional KRAKEN Mythical Mommy canvas print by Oopsy Daisy was purchased at The Land of Nod in 2012. Canvas Print measures 18" Tall x 14" Wide x 1.5" The KRAKEN Mommy is shown with her 3 babies on a very pale blue "ocean" background. The print is a modern version of illustrated natural history / wildlife prints found in antique books of the late 1800s thru the early 20th century. This is "Plate 219", which shows the grouping & subgrouping of the Kraken, the geography of its habitat, Norway, etc. There is a ship on the surface which is much smaller than the Kraken, meant to show the enormous size of this mythical mom. Background images are meant to illustrate difference rooms/ settings - they are simulations & do not necessarily show the print to the correct scale. Print is clean & in VG condition. Overall a unique and fun print that celebrate Mythical Mommies.
