It did get a bit of polish on the plug for the light, but it has not affected the light at all. You can see the smudge in the picture. Everything else is in the kit, unused. Shortly after I purchased the kit, I started to get my nails done professionally, so I no longer need. My loss is your gain! I stored the box on the desk the kit is pictured in, so it is a little sun bleached. Perfectly functional. Nothing wrong with it, the outside just isn’t a vibrant pink anymore.
