Older Vintage Mexican Silver Cut Out Earrings Signed AC In A Circle

Here is a great pair of older vintage Mexican silver cutout earrings The inner findings are marked AC in a circle of ALPACA (aka Nickle silver or German Silver) I don't know if its just the findings or if the earrings are also alpaca - they look like sterling but I don't see other marks They are older vintage, circa 1940
