Old Vintage Covered Apothecary Jar Blue White Floral Porcelain Crackle Italy It stands about 8.5"tall and has a bottom diameter of about 3.75 " The writing seems to be "Sem Aniss" I don't know exactly how old it is but I bought it in the late 1960s in an antique shop in New York City when I lived there back in the day. It has a crackle finish to make it look very aged. It is in fairly good pre-owned vintage condition; One of the crackle lines on the lid, is actually a deep hairline; small chip on bottom edge.
