What a great, beautiful find this is! It is a beautiful vintage, old nomadic Middle Eastern anklet bracelet. This old silver anklet is done with tiny detail and quality workmanship. Each link featured a three dimensional, ornate link. The bracelet is articulated so that it fits nicely. The latch has an embossed silver piece with with three little dangles. The old silver has a softly aged patina to it. Great ethnic piece! Old Silver - The Afghan / Pakistan old silver pieces that I carry are between 80 - 95% silver. These are higher quality pieces and their aged silver patina color is fabulous. This is one of several old nomadic silver pieces that I have listed, so please check those out also! These are at least 50 years old. Origin: Balochistan - The Baloch or Baluch are tribal people live mainly in the Balochistan region of the southeastern edge of the Iranian plateau in Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan as well as in the Arabian Peninsula. Baloch people live in tribal formation with tribal head called Sardar or Nawab. The Baloch are divided into hundreds of tribes. Traditionally nomads but settled agricultural existence is becoming more common with the tribal chief having a fixed residence. Villages are mud and stone huts on the hills to serve as temporary homes. The Baloch raise camels, cattle, sheep and goats. They work in carpet making and embroidery. Condition: Good vintage condition, vintage patina Measurements: 10" long, 0.42" or 10.57 mm wide Weight: 11.3 grams

invintageheaven Hi there and thanks for your interest in this! It slides off and on the section that looks like a figure 8. There is an opening on one of them that is slips onto. Hope that helps!
