They appear to be molded from a single piece of material, so they are not likely to come apart. According to Okabashi's Web site (https://www.okabashi.com) , their material "... is vegan, cruelty-free, and 100% recyclable. Scraps and non-saleable returns are turned into new product." Made in the USA. Very cool. Contrary to the highly-rated arch support product molded from a single piece of material, included is a pair of traditional flip flops: zero arch support, made from more than one piece of who knows what material. (No, it is not "Opposites Day" that I know of.) I just thought folks could use a dose of purple every now and then.
