vyntage @official_forum thank you. There's been a few people leaving comments on items and inviting them to go and download a new app for a new marketplace. It's really bothersome since we can't get rid of the comments so were stuck with them. I don't want any of these comments on my items.

I had the same problem just yesterday i will tag u in my listing where @lindleyy posted in my closet a similar offer to join another site for a better deal. I lasked her nicely to stop. And let her know she is ruining my listing by posting those unwanted comments/soliciations in my closet and in others because ive been seeing them from her recently in lots of closets. I told her ppl do not appreciate it and against Posh's rules to offer to take transactions off of Poshmark forum. She promised me she would stop and she apologized. It still doesnt clear my listing amd i had an HP on my item the day prior so it really bugs me to delete it and relist. I tagged her here so she can see really how bothersome it is.... Not only to me. It is disprespectful. Amongst other things but i will stop there.

vyntage @partymk999 @pm_editor most of these individuals don't even know how to differentiate from spam or "doing you a favor". They think it really is a favor for us but they are the only ones being favored on the whole thing. I believe that these comments are not just bothersome to us but it is the exact reason why we should be allowed to remove comments on our listings. It is our listing and those comments would really hurt the product. Imagine if they were to come to your house, unannounced and started talking to you about this amazing new product that you don't really give a damn about. It is an invasion of your privacy period. This is not just happening here but also getting them on Vinted. At least on vinted, you can delete comments. Poshmark needs to get with the times and start allowing us to delete these comments.

Yesterday I copy and pasted a comment to you and a handful of other listings that I was interested in, because I didn't have the time to re-type the entire message. I wasn't in any way even spamming. I understand how you feel and what it is like to get the mass "spam", but I wasn't doing that. I was trying to see if I could work with sellers like you to adjust the price elsewhere and maximize the profit for you on an item I wanted to buy. I understand I shouldn't have even bothered. I have already apologized countless times and I do not appreciate the fact that you keep bringing it up and haunting me for it. I did not ruin your HP listing. If people want your item, they wouldn't give two sh*ts about seeing my comment about me requesting an item and hoping we could work a deal elsewhere. If anything, your response is the only thing that would deter anyone, but again, I doubt it. I don't think we need to block each other. I believe there are no hard feelings, but really...why are you trying to punish me? I really think you have overreacted and honestly it has turned me off from buying that particular item. I love using Posh to sell a few things and buy even more! I didn't realize I was going to deal with unwarranted cattiness! Again, I'm sorry. Please stop 😩

Someone has to take the fall for their actions and it's not me and her. It's most definitely you and other who pollute the site with this nonsense. Move on and apologize it's the best thing to do. I'm emailing the CEO of poshmark and bringing this issue up with them so we don't have to deal with spam comments ever again.

lindleyy @vyntage @partymk999 I actually agree with you two. No one likes spamming. It doesn't benefit anyone but the buyer. I get spammed on my listings all the time and I just ignore it. My mistake was only that I tried to make the sale elsewhere..I was not spamming. I've learned from this ordeal not to even bother.

I notice people who spam just leave a load of crap on a zillion listings that they have no interest in. I wasn't doing that, ladies! When I make an offer on an item, I fully intend to buy! Contact whoever you want to. I have owned up to my mistake and do not believe it should be such an ordeal.

I understand that they don't allow you to delete comments so that sellers and buyers are posh protected. Im sincere when i tell u i wish u well, i even gave you the best advice I could by letting you know that posting those kind of comments in people's closet's a good way to get blocked and reported. hopesparkles @partymk999 Olga dear I think I read somewhere the reason comments can't be deleted is for several reasons. PM doesn't want 1) People offering payment elsewhere then deleting the conversation so there's no proof of it 2) Sellers negotiating a price but then not honoring it because they deleted the conversation. 3) Keeps us professional where some won't get away with sending a mean/nasty message that pops up in the notification for someone to read only to be deleted from the post. 4) Mass tagging people who don't want to be tagged then deleting the proof of it. 5) Stating its authentic, but just before someone goes to buy deleting that statement. Then when the buyer gets the fake home and complains about it the seller can fain ever stating it was authentic. There's ton more that I can post but I think you see why PM doesn't want to make comments deletable. Though I get why we can't delete, I wish we could remove the spam. I had someone advertise their Miss Me jeans on my Host Pick jeans so now I can't delete that! Why can't people just read and follow the rules??? 👿 What I wish was that PM make a short Rules section in the beginning of creating our account that we would have to hit Next to page through short easy to read pages vs scroll through something that no one reads to educate everyone on the rules before they even set up their account! @pm_editor Please take this idea for consideration. I mentor so many women who claim they didn't know they couldn't list so many things or do so many things, etc. Thank you! 😊

vyntage @hopesparkles @pm_editor while I understand some of these concerns, having no way to delete or directly private message people is promoting poshmark's primitive technology. It's almost as if the site never really grew. vinted has the way to report people when there's counterfeit items - why shouldn't this site be allowed to have that? Even this forum, as crazy as this sound, is also primitive. Why can't we have a normal forum where there will be threads about different topics? When you're dealing with actual transactions, it's nice to have. But when you have comments that promotes other websites, people who won't leave you alone even though you stayed you don't trade, or even dead beat buyers, it's clearly unpleasant to read through. I'm sure mr CEO made a few million bucks since the app's launch. The least he could do is UPGRADE the site not just the app when it receives reports about bugs. @partymk999

With shoes or any Posh approved item that you are listing and the item is new and never worn but you don't have tags, put in your description- NWOT- New without tags. Hope this helps💕💐😊💐💕

lmpasternack @official_forum I love this!!!! How do I become an active member? Just by following? I guess I need to just read up on it. I do everything by the book. I do gift a lot so I need to add the two million items I bought that ended up not fitting or looking right on me. Ha! I'm sure we can all relate to that. I do one thing in my closet I have a question about. I have a post especially for a local no kill dog rescue I support monthly or as needed in emergency cases. But I just want exposure for it. Is it ok to have that up? It is my biggest passion in life now that I, retired from the Navy. I will say I get many positive comments about it, and other posts of my own rescued dogs. I see many, many listings with personal info and other "junk" I figured it couldn't hurt. Please let me know what you think. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!!

I see a lot of people putting up messages with advance notice of being away for extended periods on vacation, especially with the holidays coming up. In addition to those messages, is there a preference in the PM community to change all listings as "not for sale" during that time, or do people generally leave their listings active and just respond to potential buyers as needed to let them know that shipping would be delayed, etc.? Thanks for any thoughts you can provide!

official_forum @jtineweb I would say if it's only a few days, it's not necessary to change items to not for sale. If it is longer, it is probably best to mark items as "not for sale" in order to ensure your average shipping time (under closet stats) doesn't increase, if someone purchases from toe closet while you're away😉

A girl purchased my dress Saturday night, I woke up to a message at 1am to her asking me to cancel her order because her mom said she couldn't purchase or trade any more items I have never traded but with posh new rules on trading I went ahead because I felt bad since she had been wanting skirt for so long. But nonetheless she cancelled my order and I cancelled hers obviously I was upset cause I know cancelled items is never good for posh closet stats. But here's my main concern and question the skirt was my first and only HP and has so many likes and great conversations but my question is is there anything I can do to where I don't have to delete listing, when I go to edit it says this item cannot be edited and it still says sold I really would like to not have to relist this item if anybody has any sort of information on the subject please let me know also the skirt is in my closet it's the Victoria secret pink the only one with the host pick 😔 thank you

vyntage I honestly don't know why I stick around on poshmark anymore.. Especially after I received a rude comment about wanting to trade and I stated I didn't want to trade. I wanted PM to delete the comment since it was rude, basically told me to shrug it off and relist the item. No mention about the fact that the person was rude or what they'll do to correct it. I replied to it and received nothing so far. Sure, it's nice to make money. But when you're dealing with idiots such as poshmark it's not worth it.

51twenty Hi @rnicu00 Krissy! Those are great questions...1) Poshmark automatically reduces the shipping if it's lowered by a certain percentage. You get this message because you've"liked" the item. If you hadn't "liked" the item you would not receive the email or notifications. 2) As a recommendation you should "like" all of the items in your closet. Doing it that way you are alerted when you mark down your own items. You'll know whe that message is sent out to those who have "liked" an item of yours. I hope that makes since. Those are not silly questions. Newer and older ones alike ask this question ❤️. This is a more recent feature by Poshmark.

tuckslemonade I'm new and I don't know where else to get info or what I can do. I bought a bag last Wednesday and the buyer said they were shipping it on Thursday or Friday. I contacted them several times nicley about shipping and asked when. No response. I saw they were active and have been active but apparently avoiding me. So I read prior comments and low and behold another interested party offered more money. I am very upset and naturally very irritated. What can I do? Maybe I'm out of luck but I feel that it's pretty unfair and very crappy business!

I know it can be a lot of work but you will see results. It's really what you put into it. hila808 Don't turn them off by asking them when they like your items "are you interested?" Yes engage with your potential buyers but pls don't say that it turns me off when I get that msg. You can kindly say "Thank you for liking!" Or "Thank you for liking please let me know if I can help you with anything!" Hope this helps. lilyspring Hi. In order to protect themselves, how many days do buyers have to cancel a transaction when the seller doesn't ship or respond? I think some sellers forget about their Poshmark closet after a long period of no sales. When someone does come along months later and buys something, the seller is nowhere to be found and doesn't respond to inquiries. lol. Thanks.

51twenty Hi Skeeter. I used to police (not on purpose). Now when I see it I just report. And keep moving. If it's an old item -they get a second chance if I'm actively dealing with them. I'll tag you on those. If I see them reaching out or trying a FG I let the, know why they are not and won't prosper. And I help the, clean up. Becomes fun! Because they actually want to. For those who just don't want to I report. My block button rarely gets used. This is my protocol that I use. @skeeterposh

Also I have been inundated by people under the age of 18 asking to buy my items who are also low balling me. I'm still working on that bc my lighting is not that great since I do a lot of Poshing at night. Natural light is always good. How about getting a white board from the dollar store? I do that too so it's a white background & it looks nice & clear.

hila808 Cont. If you're not going to model the clothes try to invest a mannequin get one from Amazon or check craigslist. Try various covershots & I see you been laying the clothes flat & that's ok try adding other props to make it look pretty or just simply use the white board. @1fashionista15

I also use app's to help to either white out the background, or blur things in the background that I don't want to show! lauras_boutique @1fashionista15 Great cover shots are the best way to get other posher's to notice your closet. If you look through closet's, and you see alot of dark shots it doesn't look as appealing to me (IMO😀)! I have a design background so being creative with my shots is fun to me! 😘💕xoxo

Style It is the app I use to put a cover shot with the item I am selling accessorized! I agree with you that I am always learning too! I do believe it makes it a difference in selling/interest in your closet to have nice cover shots! I also don't like shots that are too busy you can't figure out what is for sale!😘💞

glitterbuzzinfo I still haven't attracted a steady sales pace. I definitely keep myself involved with sharing, have quality items, offer low sales. Poshers sell similar items more or not great quality but they have sold items It gets a bit annoying because I am in this for business online + location. my numbers in sales isn't what I expected on here. the ratio of sellers + buyers are definitely not well balanced. raninmyheart @glitterbuzzinfo hi I saw your post . I do know every time I add followers it seems to help and I joined a share group and have sold a few things by doing that. Also I think sharing your stuff to the parties helps and also congratulating others in parties on HP. Getting HP is supposed to help but I have got a few and it didn't help me any. I think if u can get lucky enough to host a party it helps your sales so u may want to contact posh and ask about doing that. Hope this helps😀

texasrose11 Question. I'm pretty new on Poshmark, but what do you do when you want to ship an expensive item. I can't find anywhere that you can insure it? If you ship an item say worth $2000 and insure it for that much, then at the post office they will not let you add additional insurance to your package if you have a prepaid Posh label. They make you buy an entire new label with the insurance calculated all at once. Is there anywhere here at posh that you can print out an insured label?

adaenzer Part 3...people from getting a host pick. However the rules state that trading is allowed (though discouraged because buyer protection would not apply). I've also seen people say they report people? I could see if you dont trade &are getting asked, but trading itself is not against the rules. On some phones the share button is right next to the bundle button. People also bundle like a shopping cart ... Doesn't mean they will actually buy. Some use it to see how much it will all cost, what the bundle discount is so it is nothing that you are not doing.

There is no one to block and from what others such as Helen @read247 have told me they can't see the two individuals on your end. I just see them when two Nike items are shared. sweetieheart I am looking for a location to make a suggestion to posh about organizing the LIKE items. My liked merchandise gets lost in the follow games, suggested users, sales, parties and other posts I like. I would like to suggest a way to organize that list somehow. Thank you :)

ocoeestyles Question! I used a Flat Rate box for the first time and it was denied by the USPS clerk who said I didn't have the correct postage. I showed her the Dec shipping update on my phone - she said even though PM said it was okay to use Flat Rate boxes it doesn't abide by USPS rules. In order to get the shipment out on time today I had to ask the clerk for a new box, repack in my car, and use their tape. Now it looks sloppy but atleast it's shipping on time 😫. Has anyone come across this issue?

I sent two items to a seller, wrapped them beautifully with a handwritten note, and when she “received” the item she claimed I sent her MEN’S KHAKI SHORTS (with photos) instead of the expensive sweatpants and tee on which I sold her for well below the original cost.

phligrl She opened a case and I responded citing I am single, live alone, have never seen the shorts in my life nor have I ever purchased or worn khaki anything let alone men’s, and that this is a bait and switch and complete fraud. Does anyone know as a seller what rights we have if a buyer pulls something like this?

tamkdavis Hi! Can anyone explain to me why SOLD items remain in your closet? Doesn’t it makes sense that if you sold something its not there anymore? I have asked PoshMark support several times with no resolution. I have offered several suggestions for them to put forth to the web team. 1. Create a new category in each users profile called SOLD ITEMS. Items would remain in the data base but not be visible to other users in your active closet.

tamkdavis 2. Have the items drop off your closet after 3 months. 3. Have the items drop off your closet after the buyer accepts the items and the sales is final. The PoshMark system is antiquated. The app could certainly use some updates and catch up with technology.

tamkdavis The things I am suggesting are basic data base tweaks and I cannot seem to affect any change from PM support. My hope is that if enough users create inquiries and state their frustration, then they will see the necessity. I welcome all comments and suggestions on this topic 🙂

Instead I received a mean response from seller.I thought this process would avoid any negative against the seller. Maybe it was hard to photograph or other explanation. I hold no ill will toward seller; happy to return so she can sell w/accurate photos. Can the seller give me a bad review simply because I asked for money back? Thank you

sk8lyn88 Just curious if anyone can give me some advice. I purchased an item from someone who had over 200 listings for various designer name brand items. After I purchased the item the seller supposedly shipped it out the next day. No tracking has updated at all, when I tried to contact seller, I was unable to do so and all the listings they had are gone and they have not been active since I bought the item. Is this something I should be concerned about?

sydlondon2 It’s very frustrating that when we sell an item, the release of our funds almost solely depends on the buyer. I strongly feel that as soon as the item delivers, the funds should too. This makes me definitely want to stop Poshmark…

raven1809 I tried to do a Live show, but I keep getting this response on the PC: Please enable permission in order to start the show. I cleared out the cache on my phone and the PC. I even enabled ALL the permissions on Poshmark, yet I keep getting this response. At one point, I even got this response: The Live show can only be supported by one device. I'm not understanding what is going on.
