measurements?

lislovesfashion
@efoldesi it’s a very stretchy fabric. But from what I just measured I think it’s waist 14 1/2, hips 16. It’s a small/medium. If you want to wear tights under it, you can’t. But it’s a great fit if you don’t care for it, and ultra warm.

Did you ski with these? Are they good in the snow? Like waterproof fabric, etc

lislovesfashion
@nicoletefel I did not ski in them, never used them — they’re reposted. But, as a skiier myself and from the looks of it, it’s quite sturdy stretchy solid fabric. Stylish fitting as well.

And as for water repellent, for sure. Obviously I wouldn’t soak my body in the suit in a jacuzzi but if it worked for the older folks during the vintage years, it surely works now! :)

What size do you typically wear in womens if you don’t mind sharing? I’m usually 4/6 and am 5’4”

lislovesfashion
@laurn366 same! Every body is different and I’ve kinda gained some weight. It’s on the stretchy fabric side of things so if you lean more towards the 4 it’ll be a better fit. I just had extremely wide hips and thighs which make me a 6.

I’m 5 6 so may be better for a 5 4 depending on your body type but yes I’m also 4/6 as well.

@laurn366 also note the first two are strong examples
Of the fit and the other images are the actual item. :) hope that helps with your decision making!

I am nervous to buy this as I know the sizes are a little weird. I’m 28” waist and 38” hips with my base layer. Based on the way this fit you and your measurements, do you think it would fit me?

@allysonbird83 hm… what’s your height? I’ll measure myself tomorrow and try it on again to re-confirm and give you my assessment.

And also, what size do you usually wear in jeans (size 6)?

lislovesfashion
@allysonbird83 Okay, so I did some research and I stand by how I’ve described it earlier in this forum and my assessment of it. I’d say a 10R fits someone between a normal size 4 and size 6. I am usually a size 6 on the bottom and have similar measurements as you do, the bib fits a little snug on me and really accentuates and hugs my curves. Depends on how/what your style and preference is. Hope that helps.

Also, I wouldn’t wear a base layer bottom with these. This is a fun spring skiing bib. I would not recommend for cold weather — unless you meant top base layer, which is fine, I’ve worn sweaters on top and it looked cute.
