ORIGINAL first edition Kate Spade tote

This bag comes with a story- I was shopping in Barney’s in Boston around 1995/1996. I came upon this adorable tote and the salesperson was telling me how Barney’s just introduced this new designer-Kate Spade. Barney’s was the first to carry her original collection. This has seen a lot of love and would be ideal in the hands of a collector. It’s modest design is a testament to her hard work and humble attempt to make a simple bag. This is authentic and very much loved. Happy to keep but someone out there would likely treasure it.
