OOAK Magnolia Boho Stove Pipe Top Hat Indie Upcycled Cat Sparrows Adjustable M-L

One of a kind, Magnolia Boho Indie Floppy Stove Pipe Top Hat Upcycled Adjustable Large - 23.5" to Medium - 21.5" I make one-of-a-kind creations from pre-owned treasures. This particular Stove Pipe Top Hat was made from a pair of 100% cotton Levi's, black jeans. It has vintage, crochet doilies and vintage quilt pieces sewn on. The quilt pieces have been cut into stars to match the patches I made. You will find two patches that are little girls, one patch of a sparrow and letters from different signs that spell out the word PEACE. There is also a flower applique cut from a vintage Ralph Lauren bed sheet. There is a ruffle trim around the base of the hat, along with more vintage crochet. The brim is trimmed out in a raw edge vintage crochet lace. Hand painting to highlight some of the colors has been done and the hat has been antiqued to make it look old and worn. All the edges are raw edges and will fray over time. Inside, I have used a vintage piece of fabric that is cotton and has a sparrow and floral pattern. You can adjust this hat with ribbon and crocheted lace that ties in the back. To add to the indie hobo feel, I have hand sewn some jewelry in different spots: A stone butterfly on the star and a string of pearls from the sparrow's mouth. The hat brim is floppy, so I have hand sewn a brooch with the same fabric and crocheted lace. In the very center, I have sewn on a metal sparrow and a piece of jewelry to make it look like it is carrying it.
