OOAK Handmade Sheer Snake Tank Dress circa 1988 XL

Just unearthed this wild dress I designed in 1988. The sheer fabric was very expensive, it looks and feels amazing, like nothing else I’ve seen. I sewed it with French seams, so the sheer fabric won’t fray. Wear a slip under it, or not! The heavy metal brass separating zipper is maybe too heavy for the delicate fabric, but I never switched it out, because I liked the punk rock contrast. I’d keep it, but it doesn’t fit me anymore. The last two pics contain measurements, 40” bust 37” waist, 38” from shoulder to hem. Hoping it finds a new fabulous owner to rock it 30+ years later!
