These amazing moccasins are handmade from Butter soft bronze Buffalo with Deer hide trimmings in light & dark shades of brown. decorated with purple half moon and blue star design along with a sterling Silver & turquoise medallion w fringed cream leather tassel at the rear. Size 8 wide footbed lined inside w sheepskin/outside sole is rubber for long lasting wear. Fasten with adjustable leather laces/Indian head/Buffalo nickles allows for different calf sizes. I wore them only a few times. Excellent lightly used condition.

owlhyn Because of the material of which it is made, do you think these might stretch over time...? I'm a 9 (sometimes larger!!) due to my age, I guess...?? Bizarre, I was an 8 for nearly all of my adult life. For this price, it would HAVE to fit. Else the husband might strangle me (kidding!!) Gorgeous boots.

chewyhopper These are so cute. Were they custom made for you? If so, and they fit you well, would you mind sharing measurements of calf, mid calf above the ankle and ankle widths? If the tabs and buttons are placed for larger or smaller legs then they are unlikely to fit right, and they could be painful. You could also open them up and measure the width of the boot shaft in those areas, including the tongue, or lace them up with about an inch between the tab and buttons and measure the outside. Thanks!

lettinggoofit @chewyhopper I added a few more photos focusing on the way the leather thong is used to fasten around the Nickel buttons. The measurement of my ankle us 9”, higher is 11” and larger calf area us 13 1/2”.

chewyhopper I couldn't really tell by the photos of you wearing them, whether they were laced as tight as they would go at the ankle. I need to be able to tighten them to a little over 8 inches, without the button sitting on my ankle bone. I'm going to mull it over a bit, because I really like them. I should have also asked about the length of the outsole, and the width across the toe box.

lettinggoofit @chewyhopper I added more photos with measurements. The buttons do not sit where the ankle bone is they are actually forward from it, the leather thong that laces them up is adjustable so you can make them as lose or tight as you like. I have a size 8 wide foot. Hope that helps.😊

chewyhopper Thanks for the extra pics and info. It's true they should be slightly adjustable, if there is enough extra tongue, and you need to loosen them, or don't need to tighten them too much to make them smaller than than the person they are made for. The seams can wind up in the wrong place based on minor differences in the ankle bone placement or calf /leg widths.

chewyhopper They look really cute on you, by the way, and I wouldn't hesitate to get them, if this type of boot wasn't such a custom fit..and trust me, even having them made for you doesn't always mean they will fit right. I just had some made for me that I can't tighten enough, so they are useless to me. I wish I knew I wouldn't run into the same issue with the ones you are selling.
