A classic style, this silver tone tie bar, made by Hickok USA, features an Old English font letter "F". Tie bar measures 1-3/4-inches wide x 1/2-inch high at the F letter. Tie bar is pre-owned and has light discoloration on the brushed square and on the open tie bar. I would rate this tie bar as fair to good condition. The use of initials can be traced back to the Greek and Roman era, during which coins were stamped with the king’s monogram.
