O.J. Simpson Historic Memorabilia - Authentic Autographed Card. #1374 of 2500

This auction is for one Truly Historic Memorabilia - an Authentic Autograph Card of O.J. SIMPSON. These cards were signed between August 1 to August 22 1994 by OJ while he was incarcerated in the Los Angeles County Jail for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ronald Goldman. This was only possible because this commercial contract was signed well before the crime. Limited Edition to 2500 cards made by Signature Rookies in 1994, these Signature Cards were only available via redemption. One must first find the redemption card from the 1994 Tetrad product, and signed the card to send in. The actual Signature card will then come back in a thick lucite screw-down. The redemption card becomes the Certificate of Authenticity, along with signatures of both CEO & President of the company. This actual Signature of OJ is fully bleed in Blue Ink, bold & clear. The card is serial numbered #1374/2500 on the back, with matching number on the COA card (hole-punched). Factory security seals are still intact on both sides of the screw-down. Simpson stands alone as the only player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a 14-game season; the NFL changed to a 16-game season in 1978. He holds the record for the single season yards-per-game average, which stands at 143.1. Simpson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. After retiring from professional football, he had a career as a football broadcaster and actor.
