Notes on the Harvard Tercentenary - "A good book is a friend for life"

NOTES on the HARVARD TERCENTENARY 1936 Collector Edition of Harvard's 300th year celebrating it's founding in 1636. Contains b/w photos of the graduations and the conferring of diplomas and honorary degrees . Photos include various other ceremonies and points of interest throughout the grounds. This is a personal copy complete with a four page pamphlet advertising other writings pertaining to the Tercentenary left inserted in the book by the attendee. The 'deckle cut' pages indicate handmade paper with pages 98 and 99 having been left uncut in this particular edition. The book is sturdy, tightly bound with no handwriting, bends or folds within the pages. The spine is faded with chips at the top edge, corners slightly bumped.
