vsal86 cia797 I’m talking directly to you !! So because someone points out visible damage on you listing and asks you to re confirm there is no damage you make comment about not knowing what I’m talking about and do I even own one etc and then block me so I cannot respond. Really, bad form !! If anyone reads this I welcome you to take this poor mannered posher with misleading false descriptions on her listings so she can read his as she has blocked me.

vsal86 I’m getting so tired of posters doing this, the sec you ask a question that shows they are incorrect or are not trying to be forthcoming about condition they instantly block you. This is turning into a posh epidemic. I inquired about the authenticity with one seller asking her to verify it for me and she told me not to be asking about things I don’t even know about. Etc, I collect Dooney’s I know a little about them ! But she as well instantly got to “tell me off” then bollocked me.

I never really got into them till I saw the ones ladies were making on Facebook! I've bought like 8 I think over the past few weeks. 😬

I know for a fact the butterfly ones were selling in the outlet for $38 and people are charging triple that for them ! Wish I lived near and outlet !

smokinokin66 The purple/violet Florentine satchel is to die for! Your collection is BEAUTIFUL!! Hope you enjoy all of your amazing bags! Have you seen the nano yet and is the opening just way too tiny? Would love your thoughts, as you're an expert in these satchels! I have a mini - and it's way too big and heavy for me - and never used it after several years.

I was thinking the opening On the Nano looks way too small as well! The website says it’s over 3 pounds for the Nano, yet the larger bags are lighter. Uh...that makes no sense! Figured I’d ask you and glad I did! Thanks and wear your gorgeous purple bag because that beauty needs to be seen! Stunning!!

vsal86 @amg928 hi there, so the 3rdrow all the way to the right (is what I think your talking about) is Florentine satchel in color plum, it’s really pretty in person. In the 2nd pic 2nd stair on the left that one is a samba satchel in color cranberry. The plum is definitely one I would recommend to get, it’s just so pretty. I’ll try and add another pic of just that bag and the matching wallet I have.

vsal86 @drea8405 Hi there, thank you. So according to Dooney the Florentine leather spots when it gets wet, but is supposed to dry with no spots and back to it original color. I have had way different experiences ! Especially the the natural (the light brown in the upper left corner)

vsal86 @drea8405 upper right corner I meant, and the sec one down. I have had some Florentine bags ruined from water spots. So I spray mine with a protectant called appple gardé it’s a rain and stain repellant. (Blue can black kids) you can google it. I get mine on Amazon. With it being hand sanitizer that got on yours, the alcohol portion should have dried up but the other liquids in it would have cause a spot.

vsal86 @drea8405 that being said I have not seen anyone asked to get rid of that spot. What you can do is use a conditioner that darkens the leather and condition around the spot until that area is as dark as a spot and it blends in. Normally I purposely use a non-darkening conditioner because I want my bags to patina naturally. But in your case you want it to get as dark as the spots of the spot does not stand out.

vsal86 @drea8405 Now if your bag is pebble leather or anything that is a treated leather this may not work the leather bags in my first picture those are Florentine bags and they’re not a treated leather at all so that’s why conditioner on those would cause them to darken if it’s not a non-dark and conditioner.

drea8405 @vsal86 thank you so much for the pointers! I’m going to purchase that protectant. I love, love my Florentine bags! I have the one that you have in the first picture, 2nd row down. Last bag to the right. I got that little stain within a week. Just getting the disinfectant from my bag, putting it back in with my hands still wet from the sanitizer 😑 so upsetting. But LOVE this collection and just want to take really good care of it!

vsal86 @sandyeborn oh nice ! Yes my amethyst is very much wanted by some of my purse group members, I keep a notebook with a lists if I ever sell to offer to them first because they have asked to buy it. I keep all my bags stuffed and in dust covers on shelves I’m my home office.
